    My jaw dropped when I heard of this game being put in the woodwork, I was like another Ultima Online relived? and NEW?? Sign me up!!! Cant wait!

    Umm, well right now - as of this moment - no, the servers are closed. But this weekend, and about one weekend each month, the servers open up for a 3-day play window, where we get to test the game, as I said above. Look for a post by DarkStarr in the forum happening in the next few days:)

    The release delay seems like a non-issue. Isn't it better to have the finished game a year or two late, vice a buggy piece of crap that still plays like beta (which happens to other games waaay too much nowadays BTW)? If SoTA comes out in an unfinished state, there will probably be more people complaining and ripping on the devs than if it comes out late - but stable and polished.

    Basically, everyone here agrees with you and has already said so in the forums. This was part of the reason why the Dev staff felt doing so would be ok. They are serious about getting us the product in a timely manner, it was the players who suggested delaying release and taking the time to do everything that needed done. We all felt the dev team was pushing themselves too hard and just wanted them to have time to breathe and polish things off so that, as you say, they could have the best game ever.
