    I know you've been involved with other conversations where it has been shown time and again that the release date was pushed back over 3 months ago to at least some time early to middle next year... why keep bringing it up and muddy the waters more?

    In light of the topic of this thread maybe think about it another way: Unrealistically early release dates make the impression that the game should be along much more by now and raise unnecessary expectations with reviewers familiar how long it takes to get anything of consequence done. This results in reviews like the one above.

    Another way to look at that, is that any reviewer worth their salt (ones "familiar with how long it takes to get anything of consequence done") would do their homework prior to conducting the review, such as looking into the current expected release date, what state the game is in now (pre-alpha, alpha, beta), especially when it has actually been stated here on the forums that pre-alpha is NOT a buzz-word, which could help them set realistic expectations on what they are looking at.
