healing touch has a cast time of 1s really?

    I mean cmon people this is just silly. We healer now have no instant cast heals this is just well stupid period.
    it only heals a small amount unless you stack it and then it takes time to stack, completely unnecessary change.

    I gotta admit, I miss how uber I was before this change. Now I have to actually think about tactically casting my heal vs other glyphs ;). Was so much easier when it was an insta, getting 2 critical hits from a glyph and an auto attack while 3 insta heals hit me at once.

    This is 0.5 in the next build. Still not 0 but currently it is VERY hard to kill someone who doesn't die. The only way to interrupt many spells is a stun. Trying to make it so most spells can be interrupted, even if only in a small window.

    Yeah I noticed that it takes longer to use magic, but have the monsters slowed down as well? Combat overall seems slower to me. It depends on the monster too like the Hardened Undead seem to move at normal speed.

    I can understand that logic, but 1 second cast on a a simple buff (strength of earth for example). Since a buff doesn't keep you alive, or make or break a fight (generally people buff before entering combat) can you explain the logic on a cast time for a buff?

    Several 2 tier spells have longer cast time, but you can now move while casting including the DOT heal, lightning spells, and fire ball.

    It's changing some dynamic here.

    Light now has like a 4 second cast time.

    mind wipe has a cast time. how do you get interrupted forgetting something? is that like falling and forgetting to hit the ground?

    This is a bad idea to have a casting time.

    It is a low level skill and should be the only instant healing spell, and maybe have it heal less but when you first start out in the world you live around this being instant, and running for your life trying to spam this skill..

    Please reconsider this change for the new players @DarkStarr & @Chris this will only hurt the new players and not the end game players. Have you tried starting from 0 with these changes>?

    Not sure why simple spells should have casting times. There's already the GCD (with the notable exclusion of offhand attack), and individual spell CD to slow down casting.

    Do we have an excessive healing power problem we must solve?

    I like the change since we can move, just please add interrupts to all abilities not just magic. And preferably have NPCs use the same system so we can interrupt their attacks as well!
