    Hi Everybody,

The Aerie Fund is looking for a helping hand. :)

As you may know, we're a non-profit organization on a mission to help gamers in need and also support the causes and organizations that directly impact our gaming community.

    Here's our website.

We're looking for a supporter who is willing to donate some time (and creativity) for a good cause. We're looking for a video editor and media-production volunteer to help us generate quality content in a more timely manner. For example, our Just 1 Life Streamathon this past weekend, generated over 49 hours of amazing game footage, community events, touching community stories, and other important milestones we'd like to share with the world. Getting this material out to the world in a concise, timely manner will not only help gain exposure for our Good Works Through Gaming initiative, it will help promote games (like Shroud) and our amazing community of players that make this sort of thing possible.

    Couple points:

    1. We're an all-volunteer organization and nobody takes a salary. Proceeds from our fundraisers increase our capabilities and outreach (or given, in large part, to organizations we support, like The Trevor Project in this month's Community Cause). So, the ideal candidate for this position would, like the rest of us at AERIE Fund, provide services without financial compensation.

    2. The ideal candidate would have the capabilities to produce media - a decent PC, video production software - and have some experience working with both game footage and non-game footage. But don't worry, we'll help provide you with a concept (or vision) for the material as well as some reference points to work with. Also, we'll provide assets (logos, taglines, and music in some cases).

    3. We understand that real-life is a real thing, and that family, day jobs, other hobbies, etc. can make it difficult to commit to additional projects. We'd ask that interested parties consider their free time, schedules, and obligations before volunteering. We're not whip-crackers by any means, but we do need projects completed. Media exposure is a critical piece for helping us raise awareness about our organization and the causes we support.

    4. We do a lot of our work on Discord voice chat, so we'd like to be able to work with somebody who has the capability to join us online to work through important tasks. Our schedule is really flexible for meeting up (most of us are available days, evenings, and weekends), but if you are an international supporter, please consider the time difference. We'll do our best to accommodate.

So, please, if you're interested in volunteering your time and mad media skills we'd love to hear from you. I think you'll find that donating some time and energy to help us, help others, can make you feel pretty darn good. Plus, you'll receive credit for your work and whatever other goodies we at Aerie Fund can muster up. ;)

Feel free to ask questions here, or message me privately.

As always, I thank you for your support!

    -Thex
