    Hi there! I'm pretty darned new here and have a few questions. I played UO back in the day, and have played a ton of MMO's since. What's got me kinda baffled right now is where to I go to hunt low level stuff for skill? I've been in that little swampy zone just north of the starter town, but everything is killed before I can even find it. Same with harvesting nodes. I'm just feeling kinda stuck with no where to go. Thanks!

    When you initially login, switch over to "Friends Online" or "Single Player Online". You are still playing in the online game, but you will receive your own personal copy of each scene you enter, with all the creatures and resources available.

    You can switch back and forth between the online modes as much as you want.

    you might consider switching to friends-only mode (which is really party mode). ...at least for these starter zones that are overrun.

    There is a good post with the names of the different scenes you can hunt in on:

    with the list in alphabetical order first, then the second half, sorted as to difficulty level.

    Where you are near Soltown is very busy with players starting the game. You might find more nodes and MOBs in the West Perennial Trail, instead. This is reached by crossing down near Ardoris and following the road to the west.

    As far as determining scene difficulty, at the entrance/exit of scenes with combat you may notice a spike/pole with skulls on it. The number of skulls is supposed to indicate how dangerous the scene is.
