There must be something on this but I can't find it... I have an instrument that should give an effect in combat but I have no idea how to activate it. Should there be glyph I'm missing that goes in my deck?

    Appreciate any guidance

@Julz to use your equipped instrument you need a music sheet in your deck to activate it

Also, you need to put the instrument in the proper place in your inventory even before using the music sheet.

You can play just for a second and get the buff. Don't ask me why. I'm not very happy with music just being a not-so-logical mechanic like that.

@Julz as mentioned A sheet music is needed. You can drag one to your non combat bar and play a little of the song. If in party others should get your buff too. I will be happy to give you a couple of songs. Hit me up in game anytime. I'm Majoria. Or let me know your in game name and I'll mail them to you. We have a fantastic music system in game. We can sync songs together too. I always keep an instrument equipped and saved to my deck. Right now we don't have a bard system exactly but imo instruments that give buffs are a nice first start.

This is all new to me too, so I have some questions...

Does the instrument need to be "dragged" to the combat deck?
or can I just have a lute equipped & use sheet music in my passive bar?
I am assuming to stop the music & tap space bar?

the instrument itself needs to be equipped (you can check that on your character sheet)

the music sheet needs to be in your inventory and can be dragged into your deck

I stop the music with ESC

We have an instrument slot on our paper doll. Use the c key or right click instrument to equip. Also open up you deck with the y key, click modify and click use current equipment to keep instrument.

Seriously, one of the best games to feature a Bard based around DnD lore. Melee, ranged, summons and plenty of humor! It's a classic RPG as you skill your character to your playstyle. Even the summons are unique in how they interact with your character, especially in the end.
