I would love to see the old Ultima Online system implemented for Housing in Sota. Making a macro of "I Ban Thee" and clicking on the person to kick them out of your house. What kind of system is planned for Sota housing?

    Hello,
I think SotA will get a comfortable access control system for housing. It will be managed through the deed.
I recommend watching this video which explains some housing topics.

This has crossed my mind also but I have not posted on it. I may want to make my house available for the public to enter, in general.. but there may be people that come around I don't want coming in again. I don't want to have to go into a menu system and enter the name and such. I want a fast quick way to kick them out. the UO "I Ban thee", is perfect. Maybe have a temp code and a perm code "I ban thee"... "I ban thee forever".

The idea is a text string I can execute with one button.. I don't have to try to see their name, jot it down, look it up, and go in and put it on lists. Let this all happen in the background when I hit my macro and click on the avatar.

Playing devil's advocate. Want to make sure I have this right. So we will have to type conversations to NPCs (and all the immersive arguments for that) and yet we may have a point and click interface on a house deed instead of "I ban thee!" ?

Do not really care what methods are being used, I am fine and have faith the devs will make a great game, but I would like things consistent. For the same argument reasons.

I say make it enter via in game chat that way the person being banned can see the chat bubble and feels the scorn of the homeowner, lol. ;)
