I was wondering if anyone knows what the DEV's are going to be doing with the in-game maps you can acquire?

Here are 2 suggestions I think would be good ideas for the in-game maps.

    1. I think it might be a good feature to add points of interests on the maps automatically as you discover them.
    2. Remove the player position on the maps but give us the ability to put way-points or POI's on the maps we have. This would be a very realistic way of dealing with maps IMO.

I hope we eventually can add out own PoI and/or notes, similar to Ultima Underworld. Personally, I don't mind keeping the player position on the current map, but I would prefer it if that required you to have a sextant on your person, similar to Ultima 6/7.

I dunno, make each map a canvas where we can doodle/take notes. In fact, all in-game paper should have that property :p

I don't mind if the data is only stored locally, I just want something in-game that'll allow me take notes. For a game like this, it's an invaluable tool.
