Is it still possible to buy augmented armor or has to be crafted?

Sorry i don't know if this goes here but i'm wanna know if is possible to buy augmented armor, or has to be crafted.
On the other hand, I have crafted some things just to try and all had a plus 1 (+1). How do I get a plus 2 or 3 or 7 ? I mean, how do i know what materials are needed to improve a weapon or armor, or the game will show me the requisites?
What are the risk to try to improve a weapon or armor? I mean, is like lineage 2?

all your answeres are in these posts in this forum in one way or another except buy Augmented.

But I would not waste time with AUg I would just make what you can when you can
