    After the intro I mean.

I need a means of practising with my new deck and 1 shotting chickens and sheep is not my idea of practice.

I suppose you could go looking for one in the Shards? They'll probably fire back at you so you can test your response there too at the same time.:D

The only one I remember seeing is the one in the new-player Solus Bridge area.

Can we make a formal request for one. I do t see the harm in it and it would be nice to have something to practice our decks on instead of murdering chickens.

A practice dumby wouldn't give you exp, and chickens don't give you much only 1 bundle of feathers... Why don't you adventure around a bit? Staying close to the roads will limit your random encounters, along with having a torch at night (more random encounters at night)...

I'm not sure where you're at, but Soletown is in Novia, and if you ask for Help (to the NPCs), you may find some quests to do for exp, I know the blacksmith lady wants ore from the east perennial road (which is an easy area IMO), but if you want easier areas, go to the Hidden Vale using the ship outside and to the west of Ardoris... Once there you're outside of Kingsport, take the road west to the x roads (Kings road an easy area), from there go north to north valeway or south to south valeway, all three areas are real easy, just watch for the bugger spiders, they can kill you fast, but don't have many HPs...

While you're in Ardoris, go to the weapons shop and pick up (steal) any weapon there is, there's a great sword, a great axe and others in the rack... If your trying to do pure magic, I would wait until your level 50 at least and have a nest egg of gold...

Most scenes have Bunnies, stags and wolves to kill, make sure you skin them... I think the basic rules are to strip and sell everything you can, buy better armor, craft any resources you get so you can sell for more... Try and find Bramar in the Hidden vale (take the road south) there is a hunter that buys hides for 10 gold ea (but if you craft the hides into leather chest armor, they sell for a huge amount) and if you take his quest to kill the wolf pack leader, that's 5,000 exp...

If you stay in town, you won't get anywhere...

Great suggeations but Im nearly level 70

    8^)

I wanted to practice with an unlocked deck as I have made all my levels using a locked one and since repetition is the mother of all learning I thought I would practice on a dummy.

Also, I would not mind shelling out 5 or 10 dollara to have my very own functioning practice dummy lawn decoration. (Please Devs... pretty please *bats eyes*

I'd rather have those dummies for free. :) Let's not give them too many ideas for the store. ;)

Level 70.. I've never seen 52! *hangs head* Do you sleep? :)

If you see me online, give me a whisper. You are welcome to use me as a practice dummy :)

Here let me pull my foot out of my mouth, level 70? What's wrong with just turning on the deck and using it to fight, well I don't know, anything that gets in your way... You did memorize the icons when using it locked? The slugss you just right click to reroll (or is it click), I use a locked deck too...

I was 54 before the wipe... and I thought I played a lot too, but clearly, I am wrong...

I use a hybrid deck myself. 8 total, 4 locked, 4 unlocked. It works pretty well for me. Though now I'm moving into a dual weapon build.. halberd and longbow.. Since my ranged deck has slugs I keep part of my combat section locked so I always have something available when slugs come up.

There is a pair of training dummies in the Elf Camp of Solania catacombs. But they aren't working as practice targets, just decoration.
