Has anyone besides me noticed that when you're harvesting, your avatar goes out of it's way to get the node? I'm talking like when you are standing right in front of a tree and the avatar goes and rounds up all the local wildlife before chopping down the tree!

I don't know about the wildlife comment.. but every node needs you to be standing in a certain spot which means there is path finding involved.

except for excaliTree, the tree in the stone. i have tried a few different distances, and you just start chopping air and harvest it without that pesky pathfind.

why the guy has to air chomp before and after you ,take all, with that extreme closeup is beyond me.

im not sure what the pattern is to pathfinding on looting. sometimes there's no walk, like skeletons. you just boop! loot window.

Looting skeletons doesn't have an animation associated with it like harvesting does. So there's no need to maneuver your character to a specific point to play that animation.

Pathfinding AI is supposed to be hard to write. This game demonstrates that.
