    Watched a video on housing in japan specifically on how to best make use of small space and I could have sworn that "row" house was in the video :p though I'm sure many of them look alike ^^
    Can't wait until next year, planning on going on vacation in japan :D

    There is almost no zoning here. I have a highway, a train, restaurants, industrial buildings, small homes and huge apartment complexes (filled with small apartment) all around the funeral home here.

    the way it should be in my opinion. Zoning = oppression! Its good for sales and making nice quaint areas, but its bad for small business and grass roots businesses. :)

    Here are a few more. Getting a bit closer to Rat's Nest idea, but I was hesitant to take more intrusive pictures to share with you scurvy ridden sea dogs.

    Many of these homes do not have access to the roads with cars, only bikes or walking.
