    It's so anticlimactic... :(

Side note: The lake at "Area: Brittany Fields (Novia_R3_City_Brittany_Fields) Loc: (482.9, 37.8, 357.4)" has nothing in it besides grass. Could use some break-up doodads like rocks underneath the water. ;)

Yea, I think they were planning on water effects at some point.

Besides a splash when something goes in the water, you need water pouring down when something comes out of the water.

While we're on the subject, running thru waist deep water is very unrealistic and made more so by the lack of any splashing or wake....
There are other issues that I'm sure are more important in the overall scheme of things, but I'm hopeful that they are aware of these water "issues" and have plans to address them at some point. ;)

Oh man... if Avatars were slowed based on how deep they were in water... think of the PvP potential! I love it!! :D

I think walking through water (including swamp water) should slow you down. Also, current should matter. So if you swim against a current, you should go slower, and slower against stronger currents. Swimming with the current would let you go faster.

When later ships and boats come in, the same rules could then apply to them.
