    Are you guys going to let KD dominate both the PKs and the monster kills! Come on guys! You can do better than that! Monday I'll post the stats since the start of R28. I expect you guys to at least be a bit closer to him by then!

    Sure since we're level based it makes sense that the best powergamer is also the best killer... :p We'll sure try harder tho, nice community interaction based on competitiveness :p

    Perhaps the server is putting you in different instances because he's got 20x gms :eek:

    I haven't talked about it much but some big changes will come for casters for the wipe. Some positive (more powerful high tier spells, armor set bonuses casters in light armor) and long overdue changes with defenses against mages including a major rework of the resistance systems.

    Also, before publishing this list I did check to verify that the top 5 guys in each category did not get their levels from the book turn in exploit. I resisted posting the top 25 people who died the most! Also, at some point in the not so distant future, we hope to have a publicly available leader boards and metrics server that players will be able to opt out of if they choose. I was just pulling these numbers to verify some cleaner metrics that I recently added.

    I can't lie. I see those charts and my first assumption is that someone is macroing monster kills every time they are AFK for skill gains and XP, and then using those macro gains to completely dominate PvP.

    I see a broken system telling me to never engage in PvP in SotA.

    Companions in single player offline should help, but as far as I know, they won't be available online. I'm not sure if you'll be able to rent a hireling or something. Then again in online, pairing with a melee tank may aid magic users a great deal. Or you can tame a pet to be your tank.

    Also, another stat. Out of the top 5 player killers, only 1 is in the top 25 on level, 2 are in the top 100, and 2 are in the top 250. Not all about level though no one will deny that it helps.
