[Known] Cerulean Lens

So it sounds like you have to position your character just right to open it.

 

Tracked down the issue with non-appearing lenses, it'll be fixed for Monday's patch.

It isn't nailed down at all because the player needs to actually play the music. The trigger volume for where the player has to play the music is fairly generous but I'll go ahead and increase it some. My concern is if it's TOO large the player won't see the wall disappear.

you don't have to pick it up to play it, you can put the reticle over it and hit e and it will play it in place. allowing players to pick it up leads to what i did the first time: carry it over to the piano in the corner and play it there. that did not work. maybe the piano needs to go instead.

 

Thanks for the fast fix Lum. Been dying to move my quest path forward since the weird Notus conversation bug held me back.

i just opened the chest in the "shrine" again and there was no lense

 

Please do a bug report so they can fix it. I think the entries and tasks are not clearing either.

as those bug reports indicate people are getting the lenses now.

The cerulean lens' icon is correct - it is tinged with blue highlights but otherwise clear.

i activated all runestones, opened the door, killed the lich and the chest has some loot but no lense

Try going to the Love Shrine near the statue at midday.

 

How about the tasks and journal entries? Trying to wait till they can be cleared.

 

Going to look at that today but that may have to wait until R44.

i was there again, waitet for highnoon and Seqnannas shaddow to pass the Altar, there was nobody before me i would say, as the brdiges were intact and not broken when i made my way to the statue. I waited until midnight - empty again and waited to the next highnoon to have all possibilities checked. Heart of sorrow was equipped and it was empty again.

TODAY i relogged at the spot in time, opened the Altar and tadaaa there it was

So maybe respawn takes too long?

I'm a bit disappointed if getting the lens is only about going there, open a chest at the right time and tada !

In Sequanna Colossus, because of the bug, I didn't get the lens simply with waiting the right moment and using the shrine just in time.

I thought that there was something missing. I tried to explore the zone and found salt ingots, quartz and water (a well). Then I tried to figure out how to use those (combinations) to craft the lens with the shrine. I was excited about that.

In my mind, elaborating something like that with more hints along the way should be the way to go.
