Title: Instruments buff drops off right away

Details: Play a harp of invigoration or fleet flute and I get the buff, however it goes away after a second

I keep the buff as long as I am playing the instrument, but at the moment I stop playing I loose the buff => worthless at the moment

Yeppers' I used to play Soothing music when I was gathering or even in between fight. Even the note says 27 seconds while in combat. Now if I am attacked between fights before I am ready the music just disappears.

I know the fix is prob going to be "this was a mistake we are fixing" but I am sure it is just broken and needs to be fixed.

 

From the release notes:

• Fixed an issue where buffs from instruments were active while the player was not actively playing the instrument.

With that said (please keep reading) we are aware that this is counterproductive with 'user only' buffs such as the Cow Bell. There is also the Fleet Flute - play your instrument and watch everyone run away from you These are things we are addressing internally. I would consider this a 'work in progress'

It turns out that playing an instrument for 1 note to get the buff wasn't quite the intent. The original intent is to make an avatar a true bard, where they can only play and do nothing else. This is why buffs such as Harp of Invig are so powerful. I'm sorry for the confusion. Keep an eye out on any additional patch notes for some upcoming changes with this. There are clearly changes that need to be made here.
