[Known] Somthign is making me massivly overweight

I have gone home unloaded and evedn took off my quiver wich holds mt reagents ans stuff and I am still way overweight. I cannot see anything in inv giving me weight.



The quiver on the counter weighs 279 stones and I normally have it on also it has arrows reagtents and stuff.

But I am still over 400 stones?

@Weins201 Did you happen to have an 'problem' with a crafting table occur before you observed the overweight? I've seen this in R52: There's some sort of error on a crafting table, the things on the table go red. After that you can't use that type of table again. If you change scenes, the red items come back into your inventory, but you are massively overweight. Relog fixes it. @Lexie

@Weins201 I'm having the same problem. Even had it on QA. Perhaps we can find out if we did something similar?

For example, which blessings do you have on? I am using the blessings of Agility and Elusiveness. I would look at your picture, but i can't enlarge it for some reason.

 

check your arcane catalysts from sieges I think there is somthign with them

 

@Lexi and all others I am plrety sure it is the Arcane Catalysts I had 11 tureen in 6 left the siege and now I am 800 stones , There was 0 in my bag befor ei left so those 5 where floating now they are back they should have 0 weight when I turn them back in the weight stays

Ok gather Arcane Catalysts - more than 6
Turn in a set
You invetory will go down to 0
Leave Siege and the ones oyu had extra now appear back in inve with a lot of weight
go turn them in and you are still overweight

 

I had this bug on QA as well and wasn't carrying any Arcane Catalysts. But i was carrying other quest items (Troll Toenails) I was carrying Arcane Catalysts when it happened again today. It's worth looking into i reckon.

I left the game came back in all is good 5 still in inv
left siege am waiting for it so spin up again
my guess is it has something to do with turning in quest items when you have more than what is required
the extras do not get turned in but end up "floating"
when you change secnes they reappear but add weight.
Since the items themselves do not have weight even if you turn them in later on there is still ghost weight.

Right now I have 5 will get 2 more and turn in 6 see if the one holds weight

but this is much easier tested by developers as they can manipulate thigngs where I have to wait things out.

 

I can confirm that I had just made a bug report for turning in 24 catalysts and only getting the reward for 6 right before I had the problem with the weight bug I posted in QA. In my bag it showed I had zero, I left the zone, and was 400 stones over.

 

ok so was reported in QA I am done then, I have done my due diligence and wasted time in Live to help

Weins, this post you made is what helped narrow it down. I think you're right with the Catalysts. I couldn't figure out for the life of me why this happened in QA. I was merely helping confirm your suspicions.

Now I understand why I couldn't repro the encumbrance issue on QA with the troll toenails. That dang special sauce.

 

LMAO I am pretty sure I got the jest of the how balls all in your court now as to the why and a fix.

As always I am willing to help out any way needed.

 

Checking in appears fixed just turned in 6 of 11 and the 5 came back into inventory and no weight issues
