Honestly I don't know all the details I would assume you would need a good enough driver that it's capable of playing games in general but I'm not completely sure how NaCL works you'll have to test it out with some of the the NaCL games From Dust and Bastion both can be found in the Chrome Store.

I think this should be more then enough to run the first alpha Linux native client (release 2).

Note: running Kubuntu 13.10 64bit. Also running it from an SSD... ooh fast.

I can't play it on my system since the controls are completely on LSD and the graphics are whacked (pink non-textured polygon world). I'm running it in a VM though under Ubuntu 12.10. Wonder if it's a problem with the VM or that older distro. Older screenshot, but even the latest p5 build has the same problem.

I had the same issue with the cloak, and it was already reported in the bug report area. I just added my system to the bug report list.

Other than the cloak attaching to the arm, I was able to craft and do everything I could on my windows and mac clients. Everything seemed to run smooth and was quite playable. (just don't wear a cloak right now).

I didn't have the purple stuff at all. It looked totally normal.

Yeah, I wish I could do more, but the controls are seriously on LSD. Even if I breath on the mouse, the camera spins 1000000 degrees around, so yeah, can't really move around in the world. Time to check my VM settings.

For the record, I've tried both under Precise and the Trusty prerelease, both with success. My box is mildly beefy, a quad core intel with 8G of ram and a "mere" GTX 260 video card (using the NVidia driver, not the nouveau one).

I would say in general the generic graphics drivers that a VM uses is going to have problems running games at least that's my experience. There of course are some glitches just because Linux is so different from windows and because a lot of times people are using unofficial drivers for their GPU.

Very true. VMware Workstation 10 works pretty well on the Windows VMs and games. I rarely play games under the Linux VMs so I should try other Unity games that are available for it and see. And try different Linux distros too. I've only set it up under Ubuntu 12.04 and 13.10.

I wonder if it could the program responsible for viewing the display? Something funky could be happening like video compression or something taking place between the VM and the viewer. Just a possibility.
