Lot Deed Upgrade with COTOs

    if I upgrade a taxable deed to tax free deed.....will I get and unused but allocated tax $$$ back?

    You have to unclaim the lot to pick up the deed (and upgrade it). When you do, the unused tax returns to the main tax pool where it can be reallocated. You do not get gold back, once it goes into the rent system it stays there.

    This is something I think should be fixed. If you no longer have a taxable deed it's lost gold. Doesn't affect me personally, but it will influence whether or not I upgrade. I pay 60 days in advance. I'll have to wait to upgrade.

    If you lift a lot off the marker the excess tax always goes back into the tax credit section. It has been an established behavior for a very very long time.

    The ideal solution would be to be able to upgrade lot deeds that are also in use already -- no need to unclaim the lot deed at all. And any rent money unused automatically goes back into the unused tax payment pool (in the case of upgrading the deed to be tax free).

    Nope but that tax credit will still be on your account if you want to use it for another lot.
