Very hopeful. Thanks fooBrew.
Here's a little video i made that shows a Lua script in action doing something (semi? useful). Maybe i'll give you an idea of what's possible.
Thanks Feldon Grimshaw!
Thank you very much. It will help with totals of things you do. How about quests completed and things related to journal entries?
Glad you liked it.
As for quests and jornals, there are requests in now for Chris to expose that data to us so we can take advantage of it. Assuming hooks get put into place, the possibilities are endless ...
Will Inky or Lua be used in spell casting by typing or scripting the Words of Power?
Will this impact how magic is used or change the mechanics of magic? Like eliminate the spell trees in favor of something else?
Sorry, I don't have time to to make the daily livestreams. I wish I could be there.
Lua gives players the ability to improve the user interface and get access to information we didn't have access to (at least not easy access to) before.
Inky lets us add dialogue trees to NPCs on our lots, basements, and (probably) dungeons. It give a way to make much more dynamic player-created quests.
Neither changes the mechanics of combat, magic, or crafting.
