Maps and Party

It would be really nice to have the map system show any grouped/partied members location. When a players lost its really hard to try to find them without having something marking them and yourself on the map.

Type in the script box (where you take to people);
/zone name
Just place the name of your friend where name is above and it will take you strait to them

I agree the mapping system seems horrible or at least I haven't figured it out. I miss the mini map and its horrible getting stuck or walking in circles in the sewers because you dont know where your at.

Hopefully the implement a mini map or someone comes out with a uoam program.

 

I did figure out the /zone to them but it would be nice to still see an icon or something for them. Zone load can take longer than moving to them if your already in the same town just split up.

 

It would also be nice if your rotation displayed on the map before you moved. Its odd to have the map show I'm pointing south when I've turned to the west. It makes it confusing to orient yoursellf on the map. Zooming will help this a lot as well.

 

+1 for that. Zooming the map would be wonderful.

 

Aren't maps meant to be just maps? Like when you buy a map of a city in real life and still have to find your way around yourself? Being able to write in notes would be a cool thing, just like with the maps in Ultima Underworld.
