Some screenshots of r374 on my Radeon laptop, before and after hitting the options menu button:

Note that this laptop (on chip Radeon R3, 8GB of RAM, 1GB of that devoted to graphics card, using open source drivers through PPA) is below the minimum recommended spec so I have no right to expect it to work, even though I have been using it for emergency SotAing since August and it's worked well enough before this release. However I thought the screenshots might be useful in figuring out what the difference is before and after hitting the options button.

Hopefully this will be fixed soon :). Just to confirm, I am getting the flickering and now all the assets are black, including my avatar.

For the issue of everything appearing black/dark, could you try opening your video options and deselecting "Camera Effects"? This was a workaround for Mac users that were experiencing similar issues.
We should have a fix for that later today as we continue to investigate and isolate problems.

    Thanks.

Running with camera effects disabled does not fix the problem. The only working workaround seems to be to open the main menu (once per scene).

For me, the work-around was to disable camera effects and open and close the menu whenever I change scenes.

Hi, your workaround fixed the dark screen problem, but the flickering is the same.

Different problem, but known. We're throwing all of our top developers at the lingering issues. Although they make terrible projectiles.

I feel the pain of new Unity3D updates myself. Patiently standing by :)

BTW, Camera effects/menu toggle for me fixes the "too dark" issue, but not the huge weird flickering and flying textures.

    Looking for the fix? [IMG]

Camera fix worked around the black/dark issues for me too. Hopefully you'll find the underlying issues soon :).

The most recent patch (376) appears to have fixed the black/dark issues, so no need to visit the option menu any more.

The graphic corruption persists, the flickering makes the game unbearable/unplayable with Camera effects turned on, and sorta-kinda semi-playable when it is turned off -- I probably still woudn't dare to be in the same room with the game if I were epileptic...

Yes the graphical corruption/flickering that started this thread is still present for me too using the most recent patch. This level of corruption makes the game unplayable (at least for me).

The texture/model stretching is still there. But it is much much better than yesterday.

Is the opening pink screen fixed yet for linux people? I'm still getting full pink screen and can't log in.

Not having that issue on my end, using Nvidia 960 with the proprietary Nvidia driver.

Flickering continues, but that wasn't set to fixed with the latest update.

I haven't seen any improvement since this thread started (see Katrina's original screenshots and that is what I see today). The patches since then caused further breakage (the pink screen and dark issues that people have reported), but those seem to be fixed and now I am back to where we started--the original psychedelic criss-crossing artifact issue. I am using Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 64 bit and NVidia GTX 750 Ti. NVidia driver 358.16.

The black textures seem to be fixed for me in 376. The other issue (flashing/corrupted geometry/textures) remains the same.

[edit] Turning on camera effects makes the corruption way worse though.

Hmmm... I'm going to have to wipe my install and re-download the the whole game cause my game is a completely pink screen before I can log in. I'll see if that allows me to login.

Reinstall got me back into the game. Still a little flashing artifacts in the air but the sprite looping chains are now rendering as they were not before and it looks like an improvement over the initial linux graphics malfunctions recently introduced. Thanks yall.
