Here ye! Here ye! By royal decree, the process details for the Mistrendur land rush has been issued to the peoples of New Britannia and are posted below! The time has come for players which made POT reservations in the new territory to step forward and be heard! Take heed of the following guidance: The site selections will be made in the sequence the reservation vouchers were purchased but will also utilize a selection bracket concept to group the participants. Selection brackets will assist developers with data entry and will streamline communication with customers during this process. Each bracket will consist of approximately 15% of those awaiting selection (~20 towns per bracket). Each bracket will last for 3 days before the next bracket commences selection. All brackets begin AND end at Noon CST Bracket 1: March 14 - March 17 Bracket 2: March 17 - March 20 Bracket 3: March 20 - March 23 Bracket 4: March 23 - March 26 Bracket 5: March 26 - March 29 Bracket 6: March 29 - April 1 Bracket 7: April 1 - April 4 If you are late for your bracket, you cannot bump anyone from closed/completed brackets, but you can participate in the current bracket that is up for selection. You would be placed at the top of that bracket and ranked by sequence of purchase amongst all participants of that bracket. For transfer voucher types, to determine in which bracket you belong and where your place is within the selection sequence, please go to your account page add-ons tab and locate your voucher entry. The timestamp of this purchase is your unique identifier to determine where you fall within the selection cycle. For new town voucher types, since your new town voucher for EP2 has already been converted to a town pledge entry, to determine in which bracket you belong and where your place is within the selection sequence, please go to your account page towns tab and locate your town entry. Thie timestamp of this purchase (which matches the timestamp of your voucher purchase) is your unique identifier to determine where you fall within the selection cycle. Review the spreadsheet to see where your timestamp is located within the sequence. In your row of information, the bracket # and your dates of selection will appear. Please make note of this information. During your bracket time slot, create a forum conversation with Elgarion and include the following criteria: ACCOUNT NAME OF TOWN OWNER TOWN NAME ACCOUNT NAME OF VOUCHER OWNER TIMESTAMP OF EP2 VOUCHER PURCHASE PRIMARY: 097 ALTERNATE 1: 117 ALTERNATE 2: 032 EP2 POT Transfer Vouchers do not include customization changes to include biome, name or interconnection changes. Only the 50 vouchers related to NEW towns (Episode 2 Player Owned Town with Overland Access Reservations) will be empowered to customize their town, since it has not yet been designed. New town reservations (Episode 2 Player Owned Town with Overland Access Reservations) were originally sold as reservation vouchers for $500 with intent to collect $400 more upon delivery for actual town creation at the Holdfast size. We've decided, that instead of immediately collecting the $400 to acquire the smallest town size known as a Holdfast, to offer this by default at the already paid for price of $500. The $400 would not be collected unless they decide to upgrade the town at a later time, as the discount would automatically reinsert itself into the upgrade cost for the first upgrade performed by the town. We're considering this an introductory price concept for these new town owners so that they may experience Holdfast town ownership as quickly as possible. New town reservations (Episode 2 Player Owned Town with Overland Access Reservations) could very likely be 1st time town owners. Just to fill you in, you'll fall into the selection queue just like the others as indicated above, BUT you will have something a bit extra to do. You'll get to submit your very first unlocked POT form available on your Towns tab in your Account page. Albeit you'll still utilize the above instructions for submitting your selection items as indicated above, you'll also need to submit your town's form with information such as the town name, the biome/template as well as up to 3 interconnections. Please note that NPC Towns are not yet available in Mistrendur and no interconnections are being reserved for them at this time. However, you may use any of your 3 interconnections to connect with existing towns in Novia or Hidden Vale. As NPC Towns are added to Mistrendur, you may purchase a generic POT Form Unlock Voucher to add interconnections with them at that time after they become available. If you place your location selection preferences in your unlocked form, then submit, we will not be regarding these via the form as they're likely to change depending upon choices made by others within your bracket and before. Please utilize the above described process for submitting location selection choices via the private conversation method. No worries! I'll be here to guide you through the process, and we're hoping to make the transition to town ownership as smooth as possible for you! Existing interconnections will remain in all towns moving to Mistrendur. Even if a town had 27 interconnections in EP1 lands, when placed into Mistrendur, that town will retain those interconnections regardless of where they are in the world. This is an introduction to new teleportation concepts that will be expanding into game. Eventually, players will even gain the ability to purchase items from the COTO store (in lieu of a service voucher) for creating custom interconnections to any other town, regardless of location. If a nested player owned town exists which resides ONLY nested within a single host town owned by another player (meaning 1 way in), and that host town is moving to Mistrendur, and the nested town owner does not wish to move, they must contact email@example.com to make this known. We'll move your nested location to an NPC town or POT near your current location. If the replacement location is a POT, you must have that owner's permission, which would also require that person to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If no contact is made in regards to the host town moving to Mistrendur, we will assume that the move was a collaborative decision between the host and its nested town owners. If an absent town owner affected by this scenario discovers this has occurred during a long absence, they may still contact us to remedy the situation after the move occurs. The above scenario will also cover the needs of a nested town with multiple interconnects, wherein ALL their interconnections choose to move to Mistrendur against their will. The same rules will apply. If a nested town has multiple interconnects and one of those interconnects moves to Mistrendur, but the others remain in Novia or the Hidden Vale, they will now have the ability to exit their town into multiple continents. This scenario would allow player storyline to indicate they are in either continent or perhaps a midway point in travel between. Nested to nested transfers... the 5 towns affected by this transfer type will be contacted individually and handled based upon their individual nesting scenario. This voucher type has been discontinued and now displays as sold out. Please do not send reservations ahead of your bracket unless mitigating circumstances require it (internet unavailable during bracket period, for instance.) Requests ahead of the bracket will not be considered earlier, and only held until that bracket goes live. Players may delay their selection intentionally, and will only be able to reserve one of the remaining locations upon the end of their requested delay. Essentially, you cannot take up a slot in Novia/Hidden Vale, reserve a spot in Mistrendur then ask for a delay in your move. A request for a delay = losing your current reservation and you'll need to repick from remaining locations once your desire for delay has ended. Please be mindful that as we collect this data, it will take us time to process the transfers or additions of the towns. We'll work as quickly as possible. Players with multiple vouchers are not permitted to swap the sequence of selection between the vouchers they own. For instance if one voucher for one town was purchased early, and is in Bracket 1, and another voucher for another town that person controls was purchased late, and is in Bracket 7, the selection process remains in the sequence of purchase, and cannot be flipped between the two vouchers. The map below shows locations from 001 - 150+ which is a representation of the available locations to pick from for your POT placement. Coastal town selection will provide 2 options: a coastal town or island town just offshore from that selection. Transfers involving a biome change or name change will require the entire town to be reset, so you'll need to have everyone pack everything into the Property Manager/Magic Movers system for the move. If you would like to visit Mistrendur and walk around for a better feel, simply go to the boat by Noreach on the QA client. This boat will also appear on the live client shortly and before the land rush begins. Currently on the live client, you can ask to be teleported there by a GM or teleport to a friend who already has access, after which point a zone scroll would work for your return visit.
