No, I'm not posting this thread because I'm a fish.

Well, maybe that's part of it -- I do sometimes feel that the varieties of fish are not well represented, and we're casually assumed by the average person to all be trouts, salmons, and bass. That can create a pernicious stereotype that affects the lives of fish everywhere. Those stereotypes can then affect national policies which profile fish for security threats.

But, no, this thread is more about what fish should be found in certain biomes or locations. I don't do fishing in real life myself (maybe partly because I'm a fish myself), so I'm not an expert at all, but it seems to me a lot of color would be added to the game if certain fish were associated with certain locations.

And I'm sure the devs already have some ideas about this, but this is to help them out.

I hope others will add to this list -- these are just a handful off the top of my head -- that are meant to give a sort of distinct feeling to the location/biome,

Keeping fish in a pond at your house would be awesome too or in a tank but then you would need fish food, tank ,pond etc. .whoa this could get out of control. I would need a bigger lot then . Unless I can have a pond on my roof. On second thoughts I have a xmas tree on It so why not ? :)

Also need things like pikes, perches, breams, etc. in the game. I was just focusing on more interesting ideas ;)

Brookies! (Brook Trout) These are fun little fish to catch, especially with worms.
