Neat little addition maybe a little over done, but that can be tweaked. What I'm asking is, the mushrooms of hulicination (sp?) that make you walk the wrong way, can we gain an immunity to their effect after the initial encounter to them has been experienced. Like a 15 second immunity to being confused by them again, after you walk in to them. I had to teleport out of a zone once because I couldn't figure out which way to walk....
Yea, this would be like a temporary stun immunity... Something like this might make sense. I was also thinking about a counter to Confusion. So, like a combo, Confusion + Juxtapose -> Clarity (Removes Confusion effect and guards against new Confusion effects for 30 seconds)
The issue is, this is an immediate recast by the mushrooms while walking in or near them. You can stop moving, cast Purify, and then the effect is instantly back on you.
Blink or Chaotic step can teleport you beyond the mushroom's poisonous miasma. It should give you the breather necessary to sidestep or evade the noxious gases. I had the same problem with a Cabalist once, he also casted Confusion repeatedly and rapidly.
if this happens to me i usually just use the arrow keys and walk the opposite that i am trying to move. If moving forward...try moving backwards and so on. this usually will work. Not sure but smelling salts might work too
Since the upcoming of these mushrooms I use blink If you run in them while in combat, it can end up in a fast death ...
