I wasn't sure where to post this. While I haven't bought anything to lose, I did back this game originally for like $20 or something like that which is how I got on the mailing list. I decided to try and login to the site again today (which I've done before) and found my account was gone, and had to create a new account (using my same old E-mail address, it didn't say it was in use, which it should have been).

Does anyone know if there was an account wipe or something?

The best thing to do is contact support@portalarium.com so they can figure out what's gone amiss.

 

I'm not aware of any account wipe. I suggest you contact support@portalarium.com, providing all relevant information. They are very busy so it may take a couple of weeks for them to reply. Good luck.

 

Are you talking about your character is gone not your account, just to see if we are understanding correctly because we have in the past had many wipes of our characters as the game is in development. Now characters you make will not be wiped and your progression stays. Welcome Therumancer and good luck solving your Mystery. I am Majoria in game if I can assist

There have been no account wipes, but... If your account was a Kickstarter Account - it needs to be actually linked to a game account to get the benefits of the original account. (Kickstarter account and game account are two different things).

At the $20 pledge on Kick Starter I do not think it included any game time. Just a thank you offer. I do agree you needed to link your Kick Starter account with the Shroud of the Avatar web site. Once you create your SOTA account you should be able to Link your Kick Starter account with it and your $20 pledge should show up. Maybe even able to use the original pledge to buy a bundle at a discount but am not sure of that. Support is the first place I would go though because they can help you set it up correctly.

 

I just wish I could find the instructions to link them for Therumancer.

Looks like the $10.00 level is the only one that did not include a game account. A $25.00 level included the digital download and early access. I am guessing Therumancer had the $25.00 level.

 

How do I link my Kickstarter Account to my Shroud of the Avatar account?
