Native Launcher / Steam

I has a question. I decided to try this mysterious non-steam launcher. For some reason, the steam login button is disabled (my account is steam linked).

I did find this thread, but all I got out of it was that I should try starting the client with and without Steam running. No effect.

Does anyone know how to tickle this into working?

 

I'm not sure of the solution to enabling the Steam login button but you can just use your SotA login credentials instead.

 

Thanks, though I'm not sure what they'd be. I say "linked"... I had originally purchased the game through steam... so I've only ever logged in with it. I have to go through steam to log into the forums even.

I seem to recall long ago trying it and it worked, but maybe it was a different account.

 

@oplek It seems like the Steam login button is only enabled when launched via Steam. You can change your SotA password via the edit profile page on your SotA account page.

 

It should be the same user name and password that you use to log onto these forums.

 

Huh, looks like I can set a password after all. And it works! Thanks! I had never set a password before.
