    The new font ( I swear its different) seems less readable

    It looks like anti-aliasing makes it too fuzzy. I can still read it well on my system but the old font "looked" cleaner.

    Resolution: 2560*1440

    OS: Mac OS X 10.11.6

    It's definitely smaller looking.. a choice of font in the options menu would be nice.

    • New Font: We have switched to a new font for the main game that offers better support for Cyrillic characters and is generally easier to read. NOTE: This does not affect player-made books.

    Agree with Jens_T here. Guess the Antialiazing is making it difficult to read in some contexts. And not just this font, the entire set is being affected.

    So much for the easier to read piece ....

    turning off anti aliasing, depth of field etc has not helped make it more redable - not for me at least

    it's also just a squished-looking font, narrow and thick. it looks like a bold version of a font, not one designed to be bold.

    Not liking the new font at all.
    I have to concentrate to read the text, where before I could quickly scan and the text was legible.
    This font looks blurry and condensed at 2560 x 1440.
    No. Just... no.

    I don't know if this helps the devs at all, but exljbris has some good fonts, including one called Museo in Serif, Sans Serif, and Slab Serif, and the Serif and Sans Serif have Cyrillic. There's also a Display version though I don't believe there's Cyrillic subset. And a Condensed version of the Sans Serif.

    You can download the Regular version of the fonts from the set for free to try them out.

    Another font that I'm currently using a lot from them is Tenso, but its comparatively very limited. I'm actually working on drawing my own font right now that's inspired by it in many ways, but will be more versatile and better for display.

    I like the new font, it's growing on me, and also seems easier to read... I'm not trolling, I truly feel this way. I thought it looked odd at first, but the more and more I see it, I really this it just fits and works well, also does not look fuzzy at all.

    Also running in 2560x1440 w/anti-aliasing turned off.

    The new font is definally less readable. Looks like it is set to bold type and the blank space among the letters is very small. It also gives me the impression of being fuzzy.

    It's kind of too squished horizontally, and I am no fan of that goofy lowercase 'g'.

    But the thing that's really bothering me is that the digits are not all the same width. This makes vertical columns of numbers look odd. Walk around with /loctrack on and you'll see what I mean.

    unfortunately for me it starts inducing migraines after 10-15 minutes.. if this remains sota will become virtually unplayable
