Thanks for the new journal, i think it is a huge improvement.:thumbs up::D

I have some suggestions that may be worth considering:
    1. In the new journal UI, have a button to show/hide the task list at the top left of the screen (see green arrow). Or, at the very least, in the instructions given when you open the journal, write out something like "The list of incomplete quests list can be shown or hidden on the left side of the game window by pressing the "\" key (or you can select another key in the Options > Controls menu)." - Addendum - oops..I see you incorporated this already (i was not sure what it was because it did not work for me the first time I tried it, but after reboot, it worked, and I like the way you implemented it).
    2. Have a button to toggle "Show task highlighting" (see green arrow). This option is already listed in the interface section of the options menu, but it would be nice to have all of the journal-related UI options in the actual journal).
    3. Show whether a quest is repeatable or not. In the quest info, have an additional data line such as "Is quest repeatable?" (see blue arrow in pic). And have designations such as:
      • "No (never repeatable)"
      • "Yes (can be repeated any time)" - quests that have no time restriction before they can be repeated.
      • "Yes (can be repeated after at least 24 hours Earth time has passed since last completion)" - quests that can be repeated daily.
    4. Modify the button list to be able to show all completed tasks, and to show repeatable completed tasks (see red rectangle/arrow).
    5. For clarity, consider changing the task list options to (see red rectangle/arrow):
      • Tasks - Incomplete
      • Tasks - Complete (all)
      • Tasks - Complete (repeatable only)
      • Journal

    @DavidDC
I was testing the updated Journal this morning. A couple more bits of feedback:
    1. It seems that the journal button is not listing the journal entries. When i click on the "Journal" button, it does not change to the journal list. So, maybe the journal button somehow became nonfunctional?
    2. Also, turning off/on "tasks highlighting" requires a scene change to become active (i.e. changing this option does not take effect until you leave or enter a scene). Maybe it is worth putting a comment next to this option: "(change will take effect when you leave or enter a scene)"
    3. If you click on help, it still says " The 'Task(s)' section of your journal...". With the new name of this list, i think the text should read "The 'Task(s) Active' section of your journal..."
    4. Also in the help section: for the sake of consistency, i think "Tasks completed" should be "Task(s) completed".
    5. If you have "show current tasks UI" activated, then the track/untrack buttons seem to work correctly. If you deactivate "show current tasks UI" then the track/untrack buttons do nothing. It seems to me that the track/untrack button should work regardless of whether the task list is shown on the UI (because you may still want to track the tasks within the journal).
    6. Consider changing the "number of tasks to display" to "maximum number of tracked tasks to display". If you only have 3 tasks tracked, then the list on the left will show only 3 tasks, even if you selected 10 tasks to display. Also, non-tracked quests are not displayed on the left side of the screen.
    7. Still hoping it's feasible to show repeatable quests distinctly from non-repeatable quests :)
I think these were updates you made, that now seem to be working as intended:
    1. Clicking on a task on the left side of the screen now opens the journal to that specific task (in the tasks active list).
    2. Tracking quests is a nice feature, with tracked quests now being sorted to the top of the journal list!
I like the journal updates you made so far
    Nice work!

You mean the mode up left? Task active, compelted, journal entries? If you talk about the list of item on the left of the window where task appear then no, its journal entry is just a list on the right.

That was already a problem with the option in settings, its really just a link to that button. Complicated fix thought but its on the list.

    will fix that

thats something i didnt think of, fixing that now

Trying to keep name short for localisation if it ever happen again.

That will be something in the futur, not easy to do as there no real way for me to know if quest are repeatable right now. Will fix that for a futur release (hoping next one but we never know!)

Sorry, I was not very clear with my explanation. With the journal open, I click on "Journal entries" (see blue circle), but the entries don't show up on the list (it is blank: see red arrow).

After my previous post, I took another look and saw the scroll bar on the right of the journal window indicated that there was more content, so I clicked on the scroll bar...and then the journal entries appeared.
Thereafter, the journal entries appeared when i opened the journal and clicked on "journal entries"....until I rebooted the game.

So, it seems that when you start the game, and click the "journal entries" button the first time, the entries may not immediately appear (you have to use the scroll bar to get them to show).
Maybe there is a way to force the journal to show the entries when you click "journal entries" the first time after log in?

Its the scrollbar being broke, ive been fighting that bug since a week without result and trying hard to figure out whats up... Sometime its so small and stupid i cant see it ;p
It should reset to 0 but instead it goes at 0 minus the length of all text, so way too high.

Ahh i love math :) but yeah clicking or scrolling that scrollbar will fix it

Hello there. I have not been playing this game for over a year, mainly because the scroll wheel does not scroll the inventories etc., but it can be used to zoom in and out.
Is there a way to fix that?
Sorry but I do not know if I can ask this here. Thankyou for any help on this issue.

If you move the cursor over the inventory/container/window the the scroll wheel will indeed scroll its content.
