    I installed the trial game today. I have been gaming since before the first release of Ultima 1. I am very impressed with what I have seen so far.
    My only complaint is, I am using the Ubuntu OS v 16.04 and there is currently no map support. I really don't want to buy the PC version if I can help it.

    they're working on it! plug-in issues. meanwhile you can view the maps here

    edit: also, the purchase is not os-specific. buying it will make all versions available for download.

    As Alley Oop stated, the _current_ build of SotA ingame map is bugged and they know it.
    Expect a fix soon.

    Hi guys , thanks for all your replies, Alley Oop thanks for the map link.
    Feeyo, your PC build is not too disimilar to mine, I have a dual boot running WIN10 ( which I am trying to get away from) and Ubuntu, also a laptop running Zorin OS which is quite good.

    Specifically, it's a third-party plug-in for Unity that currently doesn't work under Linux for some unspecified reason. So the problem is with code that is not under Portalarium's control.

    I normally only boot up W10 for games that have no GNU/Linux support. But as I broke my AMDGPU HDMI sound support on the Gentoo box, and am to lazy to fix it. I just play SotA currently on W10.
    All my other devices use GNU/Linux :)
