New to SotA, but played UO since Beta....

    I heard about the game and purchased it via steam.... linked both my SotA account and steam account successfully... but it is currently open for internal dev only (first responders?) Is there any way I can upgrade to that level so I can log in and try it out now? If not, how long do I have to wait?


    Thanks in advance I couldn't find dates anywhere or instructions for upgrading to that specific item.

    It should be open any minute now - the original eta was 10.30 central daylight which by my calculations is like now

    Bah! Never apologize for being eager. That's a wonderful trait even if the devs are trying to grief you by not letting you play (BAD DEVS!). Great to have you with us and I really hope you enjoy the experience. Feel free to add me as a friend. I'm usually on during the weekends (random times) and during the week around 6-10 PST (live in California and not able to get on while at work).

    ... Im surrounded by trees and rocks but I cant chop anything...... the axe / pickaxe say equipped buuuuutt... Whaaaat am I doing wrong? lol

    The problem is that you are trying to harvest trees and rocks that aren't able to be harvested (I know, I know...). Look for trees with reddish brown leaves (as if the tree is dead) and I'll try to find some screenshots for the harvestable ore nodes.

    Well, I'm kinda useless. I know I've seen some gathering/harvesting help posts before that show what the various nodes look like, but for the life of me I can't find them now.
