New tree creature

    It could be due to all the reapers I've been hanging out with, but I'd like to see a new type of tree creature. Something smaller and skinnier than the reaper that come in groups. They would come out of the "wood work" as you move though a forest and only approach you when you are not facing them a bit like some famous angel statues. Once they get close they would attack. They will of course attack if attacked.

    Maybe call them Creepers since they would be distantly related to reapers.

    Oh, if they implemented this AI they would just have to make a dungeon full of weeping angels. Required. =)

    But this is an awesome idea. I'm totally on board with Creepers.

    I'd rather have a carnivorous fly-trap like creature. In the spirit of Stephen Daniele's original concept drawings.

    what, like this? they exist. in pvp scenes mostly but there are a few in the rise.

    Creepers / Creapers

    But then you need a third to complete the triumvirate.
    I have proposed tree-mimics for a while.
    Where it looks like an harvestable tree but then when you try to harvest it then it launches an attack.

    Maybe then:
    Reapers
    Creepers
    Sleepers (which you wake by trying to harvest)

    I like that Idea. I was thinking of something in a similar vein, having little thorny tree sprites come down and protect the tree the avatar was trying to cut down.
