Now that lot selection has finished...

Did you encounter any problems with lot selection?

 

Went smooth as silk for me.

 

Same here. I was able to claim exactly on the dot.

 

My group was in the middle of my sleep so had to place late.

Wish was easier to find the lots however.
I want the town crier to always show up on the compass
and would be nice if on the over world could see if a town had empty lots of the right type

 

I vote number 2.... but I have Town Deed and only get Village Lot in a good Spot

 

I didn't get the keep I next to though I was only really trying for testing purposes, it'd be interesting to see the numbers on how many were gathered around how many plots at the start of their lot selection time.

 

Didn't get the one i wanted. Not sure i'd even call it a good spot but not a terrible spot. I was working in the middle of my selection period and so i could not go claim it (i was also later than many)

 

My lot selection time was in the middle of my work day. So I was unable to claim the spot I would have like to have.

 

I claimed my PoT lot spot at my time slot.

I tried to grab another lot spot but the system worked as intended and prevented that until the last time slot. Good system.

 

Worked fine, but I was able to swap lots several times, after my selection. Not sure if that's working as intended or not.

 

To my surprise I got what I wanted. I kept on pressing the button an selection time and could not believe when it showed to be mine. However I dont think I be that lucky on the real run as luck does not seem to chase me .

 

I got what I wanted, and 2 minutes early according to my clock, though it's not really too important to me until we can buy vendors in the add-on store. I noticed Ardoris was a lot emptier in general now that Brittany is up. Would have liked to have checked out the lots in Brittany but never managed to get the Town Crier to load up the list of what's available, at the moment it's a too laggy place to live.

I have a PoT Village deed I've not tried to place yet (I did try to place it in an NPC to just to see what happens, the UI doesn't even let you click the button), but I'll have to discuss that with some mayors first.

 

We're suppose to be able to swap out if we choose to but there's suppose to be a time limit in which we can do that. Not sure if that has been implemented yet. Would be nice to know how much time we have to wait to do so though for the real lot selection.

Sorry , but what is a good spot? I know what a lot of player will say but I am curious as to your choices and why.

This has been my point for months, and as a result you took a village lot in a "good" spot from another player, trickle down affect.

A would love to see the actual metrics on who took a lot from a lower set than the had because of location.

I know I was able to use one of my Purchased, rent, deeds and did not even use my Keep Deed, so that is a problem, at least I think it is player should be at least forces to use the highest tier deed during their time frame

 

If you didn't use your keep deed then you have to accept that others will get the best keep lots. Forcing people to use their largest lot deed would be total BS.

BTW, you can use your keep lot deed to claim any smaller lot, even a row lot.

I was able to claim exactly the lot (town lot) I wanted. The only bad part was that my time slot was at 00:30 on the 29th. I was a bit sleepy the next morning for work.
I was also able to place my secondary (village) lot in an NPC town as well.

 

I switched between the few city water lots in Ardoris without encountering a limit so either it's negligibly short or not yet implemented.

 

Aye, that does seem like a problem. From everything we know, we're only aloud to use our largest deed first for lot selection. Pretty sure we're only suppose to be able to use our largest deeds first and the ones purchased should have only been able to use during the add-on phase of lot selection. Perhaps @DarkStarr @dallas can let us know about that. Perhaps they don't know this was happening?

 

The Point why I take a Village Lot and not a Town Lot is that all Town Lots where gone when my Group started (my both Accounts are Group 29).
