Ok, *how* do you get out of Brittany?

Seriously, how do you do it? I am starting to think I am crazy... it is pretty late here...

I mean short of the obvious way, which would be to log out and start on map. Is that really the best way or do I need help because I am missing something?

 

Look for the globe icon on your map bar. That is an exit. Though in Brittany certain exits do lead to other brittany zones (estates, alley, wharf, etc.).

 

Right. So how do I get to Novia?

 

??? Im assuming you mean the overland map? Like i said on the map compass bar look for globe icon. That will take you to a gate. Click on the gate and it will open. Hopefully it is the main gate otherwise it will take you to another brittany zone.

 

Hmmm, every gate took me to another Brittany zone. The main gate took me to Brittany Estates... Is there a gate that exits to the overworld map?

 

One of the gates was definitely bugged. It said Novia but ended up taking you to another area of Brit.

I also had difficulty escaping. I decided to explore the various districts then seemed to get lost and couldn't escape.

Look for covered wagons or balloon ladders that are now marked for Novia. There's a balloon right in Travellers Alley.

 

I gave up looking for the gate out so I am always near the docks and I just jump in and swim out of the zone.

 

If you are referring to Central Brittany, there is a balloon next to all the wagons at the main entrance (the one you appear at when you enter the scene). It takes you to the overworld.

 

I usually swim for it or exit to the world map! I had no idea about the balloons, haha. Thanks for telling us

Find the medium sized fishing boats at Brittany harbour. Hover your mouse over them. Each gives a destination, ie, Novia etc. Click on it, then you load into said location.

 

if you just want out of Brittany to the overworld, try swimming...it seems to be quickest if you are lost.

 

Brittany Central has gates leading to all the other neighborhoods, but I don't think it has an exit to Novia, which is a pain. So there are three options:

1. Go from Brittany Central to another scene, and then out to Novia
2. Dive off the docks in the south and swim away and you'll exit to Novia
3. Quit to the menu and when you log back in, select "Start on World Map"

 

Lol, or the other option. Go to harbour near the bank and walk along the jetty onto one of the medium sized fishing boats which highlights Novia, or a multitude of other destinations.

 

@DarkStarr @SorcerousSteve There are five gates out of Central Brittany, however it seems like none go to Novia directly. Can you correct us, or is this perhaps an oversight?

 

If the gate in the picture above, in the upper Left-hand corner, is the one nearest to the Travelers' Alley (with all the Covered Wagons leading to POT's, etc.) then at the end of the rows of Covered Wagons nearest the gate you will find a "Rope Ladder" (easy to run past it without noticing)...the Rope Ladder is connected to a Balloon, which takes you to Novia.

 

Maybe another town crier could be put near the rope ladder?

 

If all else fails, you could exit to menu, and then log back in and start on the overland map.
