wouldn't it be more likely to be the oracle of Skara Bre? Oh and how could it be Exodus when it was destroyed and then its remnants was sent into the void in forge of virtues
None of the above. For starters, SotA is basically a continuation of Ultima meaning we're picking up several hundred years after Ultima left off. Minax has been dead a LONG time. The Oracle was created less than 300 years ago after the events of BotA where is mentions the Oracle will be created by the Titans. This is an entirely new device that did not exist before.
Although it would be fair to say, if there is some assumed continuity in lore, that the same thing that allowed Exodus to function is also allowing the Oracle to function. They don't need to be the same being for this to be true.
I don't see where that is relevant. I'm just pointing out where the origins of the Oracle is established. Interesting speculation. Exodus had both spiritual and mechanical components. Neither was really destroyed. Though that doesn't really have any bearing here. The Titans could have potentially used similar technology, Which brings to mind that Exodus did carry out a similar function in collecting data. Though one of the primary functions of the Oracle is the (implied) recovery of lost information rather than simple data recording.
WELL FINE ILL READ THE DAMN BOOK Was just a passing thought Sir Snipe-Alot, next time instead of being smart, give the explanation in a spoiler tab.
