You must have been pretty quick to make it into the game before I placed my boat at the entrance. Sneaky.
I think they reset the housing. There was no boat there, and that lot is still unclaimed as of this morning. In fact, I did claim the lot by the entrance earlier- it's a city waterfront - but then noticed the nearby Castle lot was unclaimed, so changed my claim to that instead. The lots there are almost all waterfront lots - and they are mostly unclaimed. Anyway, there's actually several islands there. The main big island is HUGE. The photo only shows a small portion of that island. I walked around it and it took about 30 minutes.
I have to say the new Dukes Island home is everything I wished it would be. At least from the pics I see there. Qestion I'd have is what does the lot look like with other smaller homes on it.
Sorry, but the Duke Castle in the middel of the picture is a normal Duke Castle on a CITY lot on the top of a normal Island. Nothing new. The Duke Island Castle at left left is the old known Duke Island Castle (from Kingsport) on a City Waterfront Lot. Nothing new. I saw no Keep Lots.
Yes, they reset it between the first and second Dev+ tests, when they split the island into three separate zones. Odd about the waterfront lot at the entrance : I have held that position in "Port Mirren" since 1330 CDT Wednesday. Perhaps this is some sort of bug, and there are actually *two* "Port Mirren" zones in the game ?
There's still an unclaimed city waterfront lot near the entrance of Port Mirren! You can place a Duke Castle there if you claim it.
Those new island towns all three of them remind me of island of Melee http://www.worldofmi.com/info/islands/melee/
