Potential in-game literature: Traveler's Guides?

I didn't know if this has been thought of yet, but has anyone thought of writing a traveler's guide book in-game that the Avatars can find and use? Like:

• The Outlander's Guide to New Britannia; or even...
• A New Britannian's Guide to the Outlands

Perhaps even somewhat related texts, such as:

• How to Identify an Outlander;
• Outlander-New Britannian Dictionary
• New Britannian Phrase Book and Travel Guide
• Beasts of New Britannia Field Guide
• Encyclopædia Novæ Britanniæ

Heck, why not even a "for Dummies"/"Complete Idiot's" series of texts aimed at Outlanders?

• The Utter Lackwit's Compleat Primer on Magicks
• The Utter Lackwit's Compleat Primer on Combat

Or heck, why not even speculative fiction on "the Outlands" and "Outlanders" written by New Britannian authors?

• He Came from the Outlands
• From Whence They Came: The Outlander Towne of Oztin
• The Baker's Daughter: A Romantic Tragedie of an Innocent Maiden and the Outlander She Loved
• The Final Spell: A Mage Lost in the Outlands

Seems like there'd be a demand for such texts. Potentially...

 

Well, there's always the Unreliable Travel Guide (a new edition comes out with each release), but you might find it somewhat... um... unreliable.

I've considered writing a number of books based on Bowen's interests but quite honestly it's too soon for that kind of stuff. The world she is in a constant state of change right now and it will be many months before things have settled to a point of writing a book with any reasonable accuracy.

But to throw out some topics..

Cook book(s)
Flora & Fauna
Relics/Artifacts
Chivalry
Orders of Knights
Knightly Conduct

Not wanting to derail the OP further, but the use of from with whence is not quite as "set in stone" as you suggest.
From the New Oxford American Dictionary:

Perfectly fine. And, going with the era (or feel of the era), nonstandard spellings and technically incorrect grammatical structures should be found within New Britannian works.

You might want to contact the staff that is listed on the page who actually put it together. I don't know what the state of that project is.
