Do P.O.T. Governors have the option to place a Public Vendor in the Town?

No. We do not even get access to trainers.

The alternative would be to take a vendor and place it on a lot that everyone in town has permission to place on.

Ok, thank you for replies and information. It just occurred to me while I was exploring various Towns today that most all NPC/PRT Towns have a Public Vendor next to the Town Crier, so wondered if P.O.T.'s could have one as well.

    Thank you.

Perhaps it's designed to make us Peasants have to travel to the "Big City" to get "edumacated",

Yes a private vendor can be set any way the Vendor Owner likes.

I had been told by someone else that to use Private Vendor and to let others put items in it for sale they would all have to be in the same Guild, and then I would use the "Kindred, Officer" etc. settings to give them access to sell through the vendor, and then only if the lot the Vendor is on is made a "Guild House" lot...but if all the POT Residents are not in the same Guild, would it be possible to set the Private Vendor up so they can use it?

No, nor shall we. I asked this specifically in a Post Mortem and was told, un-lawyerably, bro... "No"

You can invididually grant kindred access to the plot of land where the vendor is and then those persons regardless of guild can use that vendor as a pot 'public vendor'

A finite number of listings will restrict it somewhat but it would work.

using guild status is a quick cheat to add a list of people to a lot. do it the long way, one at a time.

The setting have nothing to do with guild thow that is an option for lots the setting appear to be Kinder / Co Owner which is the same as the options for the Lots. One sec ill get a pic when I am back home.

so they will need kindred to the lot at least but easy to set it so the only thing they can access on the lot is the vendor :)

Thank you for replies about Kindred permission -- I had been operating under the wrong presumption that to use the Kindred, Trustee, etc., they only applied to Guild Members. "I see, said the blind man"...understand now how to use the Vendor so residents may use it...thank you!
