Quests not updating in journal nor on the screen quest checklist

Title: Quests not updating properly
Reproduction Rate: Some quests work and update when you fulfill the objective some dont
Blocker? Some steps of the questline might be skipped if this continues so it may be a blocker
Details: Went to Harvest and got a boat to estgard. But the quest is still listed and in journal.
Steps to Reproduce: See a quest step on screen in checklist. Perform steps. Quest does not close.

The "Go to Harvest and get a boat to Norgard" quest hint remains on the screen after I have traveled from harvest to estgard and walked to norgard. Why??

I am pretty sure that step has completed since I am talking to Grannus now...

 

Because you skipped talking to the ferryman in Harvest that takes you to Estgard.

In the near future that will be a hard requirement but for now to not frustrate people who have homes/PoTs in Norgard we do not enforce that restriction.
