Greetings @Ravalox There has been many post on where the current information on the game is posted. Not everyone uses social media. I for one am Anti-Social. Could you please post something in the Forum Announcements as well? Thank you
I even spotted some bad press by mmorpg.com They still call the company Portalarium and think Ravalox is s community manager.
Bad press? How does that happen when everyone who pitched the game are still all around with all hands on deck? /s much respect to anyone underpaid pulling those hours though!
What? You don't like having to follow five different locations for information: the discord channel that is owned by WTF Dragon (ultima codex), or the player run facebook group, two different twitters, and the forums?
I had all the information, and the 5 locations I checked were as follows: Here. Here. Here. Here. and Here. To make it easy in the future, I would prefer to post all updates to just here. EDIT: You know what's even funnier? This article right here uses links that point to the same 5 places I got all my news. Crazy, right? Small world. Maybe one moron should deliver the news that two idiots seem to have difficulty interpreting.
Good post. Why isn't this a given. Why do I have to find a Facebook fansite page (not even the official SOTA Facebook page) to find the latest post from Chris?
Have to take your word that ownership was transferred at some point - I'm not an admin, so can't verify: https://ultimacodex.com/2016/05/shroud-of-the-avatar-update-of-the-avatar-177/
Man, check out that sexy R31 news from 2016. I didn't start until like R60-something... this is good reading.
For some reason, Catnip seems to like dodgy communication. They scatter info fragments through different media and deny some info. One example was Chris making a rant in the forums, about how people are spreading misinformation by gauging the server population through Steam Charts. I made a simple suggestion to solve the problem: set up a player counter on the website, it should be easy to do and kill the speculation because misinformation is fought with information and not censorship. Chris NEVER responded to my suggestion and silently left the discussion after that. If you want to hide something that's not related to your privacy, chances are you're not proud of it.
