Resolute Scout in Highvale

Hi there,

Yes please, I am asking for a spoiler...
How do you find the Scout that the Lord Marshall (Resolute) asks you to find in Highvale?

I'm able to walk around completely in Highvale as I am high enough skill set now, and can simply make money off all the loot, but for the life of me I can't find the Scout "who will make himself known to you".

The only other thing - which is probably just an early bug - is that I can't get Brigid to take Tracy's Identification Papers off me. The gate guard asks if I am Tracy, I say no, she respects my honesty and tells me to give the papers to Brigid...but I can't figure out how to do that.

And no, this is not my first play of SoTA...but I would love to finish the Resolute quests.
Please give me a hint

 

Havent found him...spend 10 days coming back to HighVale and cleaning up the zone. I looked in every house every chest and and every single corner of that zone there is.

I found Knight Av...whats the Name again? His amulett, I found it like 3 times...can give it back only once.

I found the "mace" the lord has been speaking of, but only in the resolute town vendor...so someone must have found the relic somewhere, I couldnt. And I turned every stone at the cemetary, cause...it screams to be found there.


So...I got no clue...I think I did all I could and I think its an issue that can be answered with "alpha". If someone has clear knowledge about this, please tell us.

 

Yep I'm happy with "alpha" but I'm sure I saw a spoiler saying a guy found it - his spoiler was really only about the reply he gets "here is your reward"...anyway...Glad to hear it is not just me walking through like a killing machine and still not finding our scout

That link only brings us to a discussion about the xp and the text when giving the quest back.

What is ok, I think...since it shows that IT IS doable. Yet...a little wink in the correct direction would be nice. I think I can ask that way after spending the time I did looking for it. I hate spoilers, this is simple desperation

 

I normally hunt archers inside high Vale inner area, so I see him all the time. I even thought he was bugged lol

 

@Roycestein Kaelstrom - I tried to use your hint about "hunting archers" and still looked everywhere from on high but can't spot him...any other hint you can give?

You should look for someone who looks out of place.

One of the bandits does not attack you.

Look for the single bandit in Highvale hiding by a wall that is not hostile. Try talking to him.

Re: the papers of Tracy in Highvale - you're doing things correctly! I need to get Brigid to recognize you have them and take them from you (and reward you) next release. They have no other function.

And found the guy...his name is written in a different color and it was the "archers" that gave him away

@Lum fantastic direct support - great community feel (I do come from Star Citizen hehehe) so makes it all the more fun.

 

naaaah...dont...its not a race, I'm simply happy to have it done. I though, I really did, that due to alpha it was buggy. It was not.
