I am getting an error while trying to access SotA by Steam as soon as I received the last patch.
From the error log, it looks like the problem was some library in Unity:

Shroud of the Avatar [version: Unity 2017.4.1f1 (9231f953d9d3)]

UnityPlayer.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)
    in module UnityPlayer.dll at 0033:2d990eb0.

I always played via Steam and I've never had this problem since I started playing two years ago.
I'm downloading the game client via direct download to see if the problem continues.

It worked again when I checked the integrity of the file via Steam. He made a small download and repaired the corrupted file.

I think it was some bug caused by download failure then. Maybe it's not something to worry about.
