Reproduction Rate:I don't know. I know that I had a similar death before, but I had a doubt, so I didn't posted any bug report. Now I have no doubt. Something is wrong.

Here the enemies dealt 264 damages in total. I have a lot more than that in total. I had a water elemental with me. Two devotional buffs, including a +1.5 health points in combat. Two food buffs for 1.6 health points in combat. AND the previous fight was 30 seconds earlier, more than enough to keep me almost full life. And I just got slained. That's... totally... incomprehensible ! Maybe a problem with the berserker stance disappearing ? Or maybe it's because the new buff turn my damage avoidance into a negative thing ? I don't know. But here is the result. I have been slained with a 16 point hits when I had NO idea that I was in distress.

Steps to Reproduce:I don't know. I just bug reported that with everything for you to see what happened. I don't have any video unfortunately. My guess is that the health bug is worse than what we all think. Or there is a new bug that makes it worse.

I have been trying to identify exactly what is going on here too. I think that health goes down super fast and is not reflected as hits on the chat tab and thus is hard to pinpoint. I am always experiencing the health bug when this occurs. Reloading the game gets combat back to normal for me for a brief time.

Reset your router and your restart your machine if you haven't yet. When I have observed this I was having network issues at the time (missing info from chat logs). This could actually be several things. I don't think this is scene specific at least. Could be HP related as well but usually your health bar would indicate something is off.

 

I don't think that my chat log is in fault here. My health bar seemed to be ok, I had no heart beats nor blood effect on screen then I suddenly died with a 16 points shot, in a few seconds without hitching nor network problem icon.

I just checked my log to figure out what happened. Of course, I can restart my router but my computer already got resetted between the two times I think I had this bug.
Recently, I turned on the option to save the last 5 minutes played. I already got a record of the water elemental healing 115 health points when my bar is almost full, here :

It doesn't seem to be normal because, generaly, you can't heal more than your max. So when health is 867/878, I never get more than 11 points with my healing spells. And sorry, I never turn on the stats on health/ focus for immersion reason but I can tell you that less than 1/15th of my health bar is NOT 115 health points right now.

That's why I think that the health bar is bugged right now. @Lexie

 

You wernt by any chance fighting Avara and if you looked at that yellow debuff on yourself it wasnt the focus damage one was it ? (you take damage for all focus moves you do ) ?

 

The cabalists were already dead, if my memory is correct. I generaly use the five last minutes to help the defenders and prevent those drom dying. I think I died at that time. Or maybe before killing the last 6 engineers possibly. I never engage enemies in the place where I died when cabalists are around. Also, such thing would probably have been mentioned in the log, I think.

 

@Lexie Can confirm that this is an issue, was in highvale, on nearly full hits (>800 with buffs), cast dash twice and killed myself...

I was using besrkers stance, but Ive since tested and if I cast it and stand in warmode my hp goes up temporarily by 85, and with the devotional of sacrifice on it negates 1/2 its damage
so I only take about 40-50 hp of damage for its duration, at whcih point it cancels out and my hp pool will then be at max again I had more hp than my base. I then recast it and hp was back a higher max and then I buffed and died.
