I used the New Mail interface...

CONFUSION: Fee: 10 gold Gold: 0

So I filled in Gold: 10 to pay my fee!

It is NOT clear that the Gold: 0 in the UI means send additional gold, not pay your fee. So I sent more gold.


Please see if that UI can be clarified or some instructions.

 

ALSO, is there a mail receipt?

And, if not delivered, can I get the mail back? I should! Valuable things sent.

 

Hmm. We won't be able to make these changes by the time it goes live, and once it does go live I'd be sure to include your feedback. This is regarding the gold UI confusion, getting your mail back if not accepted, and a sender mail receipt. Right now, if you send something it is under the context that it is no longer yours - it is gone. But I understand what you are saying. Some kind of time limit would have been added to it as part of the design. Currently it is working as designed but of course this is the first intro of a mailing system of this type, and I'm sure more polishing will happen along the way.
