Steps to Reproduce:
1) Turn on the pc
2) Start Win10
3) Start a new game with Female Avatar in the Offline Mode

User Specs:
OS: Windows 10 (10.0.0) 64bit
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz (8) System RAM: 12244

Same issue, I did a reinstall, but I am not sure it was resolved. I was able to get in offline mode once, but after that it started hanging again.

I also have to restart the computer to get it to shut down.

 

We are having difficulty reproducing this issue internally. All of our machines, with varying OS and hardware, seem to be loading into the game fine in offline mode. However, we've written up a ticket for Tech to take a look at this issue further. ID: 51349

 

Seems likely you have a corrupted install. This problem would occur in offline mode and online mode. You haven't mentioned whether online play is working for you, but that's an important detail. If you've got a virus program like Norton installed on your machine, it could also be part of this issue.

 

The online part does work, there is a 94% hang but it is only for 5 -10 seconds. I have Kaspersky and Malwarebytes installed.

I think I did see a pop up message for Kaspersky where is was trying to block the program, but I was able to play.

 

I think the reinstall did fix the problem. There was no noticeable hang at 94% for offline mode today.

The only noticeable hang was for online mode was at 50% and 94% but that was for loading decorations in Diamond Fields.

 

The issue got resolved for me after Steam updated the client from 665 to 667.

The Offline Mode stopped working for me again in 669
and still does not work as of Build 672.
