Exactly. For a mode where there is player looting already, thieving seems like a good fit.

I don't think that everyone "flagged" for PvP should also be "flagged" for player looting, though. I believe PvP should have a "lite" version, without any kind of player looting, both for attracting players to PvP and for those players that prefer to never be looted (and, conversely, to never loot other players); and a "full" version for those players that want both open PvP and player looting (and thieving).
