Would be good to get a list of questions that were Asked/Answered from this event from someone.

There were no huge announcements broken to the public.

 

I see a UO Second Age question in there,

Did equipping a weapon disrupt spell cast. I remember that being YES because I used to screw up the timing all the time back then and screw myself up (trying to be a swords+mage). I was horrible at pvp and my friend was a red who was quite good, he tried training me... but I was more interested in rare hunting and fishing and mining.

 

It was no and then it became yes. I seem to recall around that era is when they changed timing because you were pretty easily able to spam spells and then whack with a hally for the kill but was changed either at the end of the era or right after to where there was a timing delay on it which completely destroyed the idea of a tank mage.

 

Yeah, I started the summer of 99, so if their target is prior to that then it might have been different. I only ever remember it being that way. I was playing with deadly poison katanas at the time... probably around august '99 is when I was trying this.
