Details: In the crypt of the avatar, Miles tells me to head to Spite before leaving. Which I did... he just kept telling me to speak to the dead and he would interpret. In Spite, I find him at the bar, but he does not wish to have anything to do with me... nor does the entertainer, the sorceress or Yama.... sigh.

For now, speak to Samael in the Crypt (not Spite) to move the quest forward.

 

Hi Lum, I went back to the Crypt. Samael was not there. I used the summon whistle (somehow I have 2 of those btw...) to bring him back. Miles has confirmed that I definitely need to move on to Spite... I was not able to get a meaningful response from Samael.

With some assistance from a Hospitaller... I was able to make progress..

 

How did you fix this, if you don't mind? I'm stuck at the same spot, as well as others.

 

Yeah would be nice to move on.

Samael was not there anymore, but was able to update the journal and get XP reward.

 

Great! I had the same issue (mentioned above) I had to use the summoning whistle for Samael for him to show up.
