Since the game is feeling very Trammelly, any plans for a Siege Perilous type experience?

Let players log in as a mob if they like. No uber gear, just basic stats and skills appropriate for that mob. Then let them loose on entire map. gives pvp guys something to do and adds challenge to pve.

It did not meet the KS goal, however they have released the development map on the Shards website and will be entering the next pre-alpha phase later in the Fall which will focus on player modding and world building. Then in Winter the initial Alpha will be tested in terms of game content and systems (on top of player modding).

I sometimes wish two servers were implemented just to have an effective gauge of the interest in hardcore PvP. Specially if this meant the "PvE" server wouldn't have any PvP incentives, such as extra resources only available if the player is in OPO and flagged for PvP.

Yep, not having a successful KS mainly means that the game will take longer to be developed, and perhaps will have to reduce its scope.

It is an indication of the player base interest, though. Seems like the interest in an open PvP game isn't that high. I can only remember two open PvP games that have PvE mixed in and had a successful KS: Pathfinder Online and Star Citizen. With the caveat that Star Citizen will allow offline play, private servers, and will have a part of the game universe reasonably free of PvP.
