Slime damage

What kind of damage do slimes do? Is it physical damage? Is it water damage? Something else?

I'd suggest death and or poison?

 

I think it's classified as "a lot of" damage. They can hit hard. Good thing they are slow.

 

The small ones are damn fast though

 

You are probably right. The big ones are the ones I remember though. The one in The Rise and Oracle Colosus(?) can be scary if your not paying attention. Easy to kite though.

 

Ice Field or Arrow

The Rise one is Coral Slime. It hit me once for 720hp...lol

I also believe the damage would probably be some kind of poison.

 

Yea. That one took a couple of my guildmates out last night who didn't see it coming.

 

Which one is worse, the coral slime or the gold slime (I think that's what it's called)?

 

Not sure, the Gold Slime sounds familiar but I don't recall where I saw it. The Coral has like 1400hp I think. Hits hard though, so tread cautiously! If you use Ice Field/Arrow combo(I'm GM'd for both) it stops it in its tracks and you can kill it with ranged attacks.

 

Gold slime was at Boreas Colossus, in the purgatory room. Also, sometimes a coral slime instead.

 

Yeah, I found that Disabling Shot is way more valuable than I originally thought it was.

There is a difference in terms of hp, but I don't have access to my computer now, so can't tell you. I haven't really fought them, so I can't tell you about anything else.

 

Slime does explosive damage. You gotta roll around to get rid of it.

 

Good question. It would be nice if our chat logs included what kind of damage was taken.

I do know that slimes are supposed to do extra durability damage to metal weapons and armor.

 

Slimes... I hate slimes.

 

Most attack types and damage are listed in chat logs, but some aren't. I don't think the slime did...if I get hit again I will try to remember to look(*hopes he doesn't get hit again*).

 

I searched my chat logs and they don't say what kind of damage, only that the slime damaged me.

 

I just had the bright idea to fight some slimes with Death Shield on. Their damage is apparently physical.

 

Why? Did you get health transfers while using it?
